FW Apparel started with one belief: what you wear can tell people who you are before you open your mouth. Not just your style, but your standards, your faith, and the work you’re putting in on yourself.
FW Apparel launched in 2023, but Fred Williamson 1981 is the foundation, the roots, the lessons, and the personal history that came long before the brand did. It’s a reminder that everything worth building starts with who you are and where you come from.
Since then, we’ve built the FW Est. 1981 identity, designed three signature collections from scratch, opened our online store, and set up on-demand fulfillment so every order is printed fresh. We’re now building our own in-house production as the brand moves into its next chapter. From that foundation only, came our three collections, each with its own voice.

Our mission is to make quality apparel that pushes people to live with confidence, discipline, faith, and purpose, and to become a better version of themselves one day at a time. We’re growing FW into a nationally recognized lifestyle brand, with hoodies, hats, and accessories joining the lineup. The goal isn’t for people to wear FW because of how it looks. It’s for them to wear it because of what it stands for.
